Yeah, definitely an issue I've seen from a few people.

 

Yeah, and I mean with the case on it doesn't bother me much at all, but the fact that it's doing it when it probably shouldn't be is kind of annoying. Will still probably try and swap it once they start getting them in stock again.

 

Does the iPod Touch have the same internals as iPhone 7? 6s?

 

Specs for that are more in line with the 6.

my other messaging app GroupMe opens the keyboard faster on the lock screen than iMessage.... something has to br wrong here.

If the only way you can here it is by putting it to your ear then this is normal and not really an issue. The noise is coil whine, it's characteristic of high performance computing chips at all levels. Typically you hear it most with powerful desktop graphics cards but it can happen in any computer chip.

The person who originally posted the video, Stephen Hackett, and started "Hissgate" or whatever we're calling it this time around had a phone that you could literally here the coil whine under normal heavy use scenarios (like watching youtube) from several feet away. THAT is not normal and is definitely and issue, but I imagine most iPhone 7s and maybe even some early models will have at least a little bit of coil whine if you listen close enough. It's just part of making high performance chips really.

 

OS Sierra ruined my wifi connection >_>. I can see pings going through at 28-40 ms, but websites hang a lot, and speedtest is giving me 30mbps down when my phone is getting 160mbps down. I swear, since Yosemite, my wifi has gotten worse with each update and it's driving me insane.

Even deleted all of my wifi settings, deleted all of my network/wifi .plist files from system preferences and rebooted, and no dice. And yet my HP work laptop works flawlessly.

 

what browser are you using? Safari has been having issues for me so I switched back to Chrome.

 

My phone was supposed to be delivered yesterday but it's stuck in Korea. The anticipation is killing me

 

Looks like a really big batch got stuck over there because of a mechanical failure.

 

According to UPS tracking it's because of extreme weather. Hope nothing crazy is going on

 

I use Chrome mainly, but I did notice it's much worse in Safari, as well. Very weird- I was hoping Chrome was the culprit initially.

Yep! I've tried other things like disabling IPv6, switching to Google's DNS servers, rebooting my modem, but yeah idk. Super annoying. I need to hardwire this thing haha

 

THe update isn't show up in the Mac App Store.

 

Enabling "Handoff" makes my bluetooth keyboard/mouse disconnect every thirty seconds. Basically useless.

 

Running some tests, it may be "Bluetooth PAN" that's causing the issues ... hmm.

Apple Music isn't updating new realeases for me since I updated to iOS 10. No new Green Day or As It Is songs. Anyone else experiencing this?

 

I work for a company that has 1,000+ employees, trying to redistribute an iPhone 6, but whoever had it last left their Apple ID on it. What are my options? I tried restoring with iTunes but it's looking for an Activation Lock.

 

I think you're only solution is finding who had it last and requesting they turn off the lock.

 

The problem is we have no idea who it belonged to, the email just says m*****@me.com.
