Blew my mind when I found out decades later that that's a Christopher Guest movie.

It’s not just that it’s not good. It’s SO aggressive in its badness. It’s the movie equivalent of a 5 year old screeching for your attention.

Not only did I just learn this is a film that exists and comes out next month, but the way I learned it is because Blue October is releasing a new album, and anyway, the article mentioned that the lead singer is actually in this movie as a villain. Pretty sure that's him on the poster below Rourke. Fuckin' wild.

I went with a group of friends to see this in theatres since one of them wanted to go for his birthday. I went in optimistic and left thinking it was legitimately the worst film I’d ever seen.

I was trying to think of an all-time clunker and this is the first one that came to mind

    In_the_Name_of_the_King_-_theatrical_poster.jpg

Apparently there is a 2nd and 3rd one lol

In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale, or simply In the Name of the King, is a 2007 action-fantasy film directed by Uwe Boll and starring Jason Statham, Claire Forlani, Leelee Sobieski, John Rhys-Davies, Ron Perlman and Ray Liotta. It is inspired by the Dungeon Siege video game series. The English-language film was an international (German, American, and Canadian) co-production and filmed in Canada. It premiered at the Brussels Festival of Fantastic Films in April 2007 and was released in theatres in November 2007.

Upon its release, the film was a major critical and commercial failure, receiving overwhelmingly negative reviews from critics and grossing $13.1 million against a budget of $60 million.

Yes, plus John Leguizamo, Ludacris, Terry Crews, and Kyra Sedgwick.

Uwe Boll films don't exist because Uwe Boll doesn't exist. He's a fictional character created by anti-gaming factions to make reverse propaganda.
