This Tales from the Territories doc is making me think whenever they do make another DSOTR it's going to cover more recent stuff from the 90's and 2000's. I want more 2000's indie era episodes. Specifically a Larry Sweeney episode.

 

Watching Royal Rumble 2011. 3 of the first 5 is Punk, Bryan and William Regal. Regal and Bryan squaring off against each other is really hard hitting unsurprisingly.

 

The second I post that, Dibiase JR eliminated Regal. Boooo.

 

Smackdown audio glitching like crazy for anyone else? Watching on my cable TV app (Spectrum), and the video seems to be fine but the audio isn’t coming through except for like a half second of a word here and there. But having zero issues with any other channels on the app, so not my wifi or anything…

 

Watching with an HD antenna and everything is fine.

Kinda hard to imagine Rampage being more "Dark but on TV" than this episode. Why am I taking seriously a heel turn from someone who got squashed in like 30 seconds mere moments ago?

 

Assuming Forbidden Door was just the start...and they can pay off the intended build for that...then in a way the Trios tournament is the start of a really wild build to WK and Revolution.

Kinda feels like NJPW isnt all-in on G1 this year, just off the brackets, it kinda feels obvious how they go...but, a WK that trots out Punk v Tana, Jay White v Hangman, and Omega v Ospreay would be pretty incredible, and Okada is sitting there to challenge Jay White on Night 2 I presume.

Also, feels like Cole/TUE are gonna be on the shelf a while...they had them try to hurt the Bucks out of the Trios tournament but obviously they failed.

 

how was smackdown tonight? Naturally I completely forgot it was on.

 

I caught the first hour. It wasn’t terrible. The wrestling wasn’t spectacular or anything but you can really feel something is different with the vibe. I know this isn’t useful information lol
