Damn not even rescheduled, that's unfortunate. Him being seated the whole time didn't take away from the show at all, it felt like he was a wounded poet & honestly was a neat experience. I hope he heals well & the next shows are even more insane

 

i’d imagine he was waiting to get surgery until after the US leg

 

Them cancelling makes me believe they might be done touring after next years US leg

 

i thought that was possible but then also was thinking that it’s just as easily the opposite case. cancel outright if they’ll be back in like 18-months vs. postponing if this is the one time only thing and you don’t want to just scrap it entirely

 

They did say “hope to be back soon,” so there’s probably still interest in performing overseas. I have a feeling (or at least I hope) that more dates will be added next year. I mean, we never even got a proper hometown show, and there are a lot of areas/cities that they didn’t hit up. Probably just wishful thinking though

 

Such a wildly unfortunate event to break your leg on the first show after rescheduling for 3 years. You can’t even make that shit up

For real. I’m not sure I’ve seen anyone mention it, but does anyone know how he actually broke/tore whatever? Did he trip over something, was he jumping off something or running or what happened? I’m curious.

 

I was at the show, from what I remember he was jumping around and I guess he had a bad bounce, as next thing he was hopping side stage to sit on a monitor.

 

Damn. Can’t imagine what was going through his mind at that moment. Thanks for the info!

At the moment I didnt realized he was hurt (and I guess most of the crowd neither). They finish the song and stop the show for a couple of minutes, then Zach came back saying he hurt his leg but saying they will finish the show even if he had to crawl around the stage. Such a champ!

 

Wow. It’s terrifying that the human body can sustain such a brutal injury from the tiniest little thing like that. He’s a trooper for sure.

 

Still believe it’s his Achilles or something that got torn

 

I thought I heard he tore his ACL, but that could have just been speculation online.

 

In sports it's always those non contact injuries from out of nowhere that seem to be the worst. It really is crazy he barely did anything
