Nice, they're tackling all of the hits from Wide Awake.

I don’t know anything about these companion EPs he’s been releasing…are these new recordings of older songs in a different style, or are they older recordings of these songs in a different style (i.e. demos)?

also for digital ash & wide awake he’s doing digital ash in the more acoustic folk style of I’m wide awake and wide awake songs in electric digital ash style

That Digital Ash tour with the Faint was a good time. I remember I wore a suit jacket with pins on it to the show for some reason. Also remember pregaming at some bro bar in the city that had beer pong tables. Oh to be 22 again.

Digital Ash tour wasn't my #1 best bright eyes show but goddamn if it's not the one I cherish having been at most

Yup, them were the days. Just found the setlist for the show and this was epic. Also he played 5 nights there.

Bright Eyes Setlist at Webster Hall, New York

Probably my most interesting Bright Eyes show was when he played a tiny show at the Knitting Factory before these two albums were a thing in February 2003.

I don't think that setlist is correct? If you look at the other shows around it they didn't play that many songs on the digital ash tour. I also have no recollection of multiple nights in NYC on that tour.

You are right. This must not be correct. I thought it seemed to good to be true. Webster is small so I wouldn’t be surprised if they did multiple nights

Best BE setlist I ever saw was this. Went the night before too, both were insane.

the scales always find a way to level out Supporter

They were excellent yesterday in Copenhagen. Looks like the setlist wasn't too different from the U.S. shows, but I was very happy that they threw in "Arienette", "Method Acting" and "An Attempt to Tip the Scales". Would've liked a Cassadaga cut or two but I can't complain. Also can't believe they tour with Jon Theodore - he was absolutely mesmerizing.

I've been listening to them for 15 years and finally saw them live for the first time this monday. I must say that they sounded really good. There were some weird moments, like when someone from the crew had to tie Conor's shoe. But overal, it was excellent. Jon Theodore really lifts the energy of their performance.

Sadly, Belgian reviews from their show the day before were not that good. Conor did adress this saying he was nog feeling well.

I haven't seen them live, so I always forget Theodore is a touring member haha. Talk about bringing a gun to a knife fight.
