Thanks Dom, sincerely. I've tossed those questions around but don't have a concrete answer. I guess it'd be when I start harming those around me. And as it is my friends tell me they're all worried sick and that makes me feel awful about myself for doing that to them

 

I keep going on dates with this chick but we really don't have anything in common besides both being ridiculously good looking. Can't decide if I want to call it quits or just stick it out for a bit.

The way addiction works is, it makes you feel like you're the problem. That you are a bad person, that the blame for hurting friends can be derived from your being. That isn't the case. Your actions are hurtful, but you, as a being, aren't. You are an amazing person who is just hurt. I've been here before, Jake. And it is a self-sustaining cycle. For real, I honestly don't want the reddit masses to come here. Like I dig going through that site and seeing all the cool content it possess but fuck, that is one super toxic community of people. Just awful people that frankly this site doesn't need. I love that everyone is being civil with each other, it's such a positive thing to see.
