I still listen to Neighbourhoods and the DOD EP every few days. Keen for a new album from these guys

Just listened to DED again, never will understand not liking this EP

 

I definitely think Disaster is a gem.

 

Speaking of DOD, 'Boxing Day' is hands down one of the most underrated songs these guys ever put out.

The production kills it for me. Sounds amateur.

 

That's how I thought about Neighborhoods as well. I really wish I could've gotten into it more.

 

Yup, I feel the same way about that record. A track like Hearts All Gone for example, good song, but it just sounds so bad.

 

When I Was Young might be in my top 5 blink songs.

Mercenaries would have been the best blink song since 2003 had Tom used it for blink.

 

I think the production on DED sounds wayyy better than neighborhoods, at least more consistant

It's mutual, man. Too many upcoming things I wanted to discuss with the AP crew to not join up. haha.

 

Am I the only one who would love to see lyrics based around: getting old, the breakup, the plane crash, fatherhood ect.? I know chances are pretty slim but I think it could make for a really amazing album. The band has been through so much, there is potential for so much lyrical material

 

I just don't know, I feel like a god damned dork being a near 30 year old being so pumped for a new blink 182 record. Hopefully this release will settle that haha

 

Heres the real question; if it leaks, will you listen or wait?

 

If it's a full on leak...I don't think I have enough will power not to listen

 

Yeah. I did manage to resist the Neighborhoods leak, but if round two happens, I doubt I'd be able to avoid it.

 

Yup, I know it's not a popular opinion but I really dig that song.

 

As long as I have a good pair of headphones and enough time to listen front to back
