Kind of weird they did California deluxe and said they recorded at least 10 extra songs during NINE sessions but never did a deluxe release for it.

I'd like to know about this as well. It seems like it kept changing and never really materialized. It was supposed to be a deluxe album, then it was supposed to be slimmed down to an EP (with features?), then it seemed like they were going to add some of those tracks to the new album that they apparently recorded more songs for..... Then it all just...disappeared.

 

And then Covid was all like "BOOM!! What's up BiTcHezZz?!?!?!"

Maybe it’s just me, but this doesn’t make me think of blink at all. This sounds more in line with like Pretty Buff era Angel Du$t or something lol

That's a good list because it includes almost 1 song from every era. Stoked you included Untitled, my first favorite blink song and would prob. be on my top 5 too.

 

Nah, this was well into 2020 and 2021 when they were talking about the deluxe edition or new EP. The song "Quarantine" was supposed to be on an EP that was some of the Nine leftovers plus new music. Then they were discussing the possibility of it turning into a full album with a 2021 release, and Matt and Travis seemed to imply it was almost finished. Obviously at that point, Mark's cancer diagnosis took priority, but then when someone asked him about the new record in early 2022, he said "haven't really even started" which implies all of that stuff got shelved lol. Just strange.

 

There are very few bands where I can see so many different top fives and be like, "yep, that looks good to me."
