You were champion during the empty crowd Covid era and got the title because Matt Taven was a failure and Lethal was the only other option lol It’s not like he was a longtime, established staple of ROH.

it's easily to bash on JR in 2022, and rightfully so.
but the positives still exist:
when he dropped the 'business is about to pick up' line on commentary when hook came out to face starks, that came across as a big fucking deal to me. added value to that match/segment imo.

 

i dunno. any one could have dropped that line and it been effective.

 

JR is good at halting/derailing any conversation the other commentators are having to say something that makes no fucking sense
