I love Blind Guardian but I gave you a very long very power metal album that is all LOTR focus. I won't judge anyone if they didn't like it.

 

honestly felt "quicker" than some of the other shorter albums you've sent me. i liked it! as i stated in the thing, lose the bits and id probably like it even more. it's basically just heavier queen lol.

Blind Guardian's prime era is alright to me, and I hate most power metal so...yay?

 

My band is releasing a new EP on Zegema Beach Records later this year and we just dropped our first single. I never know the best way to promote these days other than spamming social media until I've run out of energy, but it may be to the tastes of some folks in here.

A lot of us used to be in screamo bands and stuff so there's a bit of that flavor, too, if that's your bag. Hope folks dig it nonetheless.

Thanks so much for taking the time to listen! Been sitting on this EP since April and it's so good to finally get a track in front of people.

As of now we just have plans for vinyl, but you're the second person in 24 hours to specifically ask about cassettes so I think we may need to pitch that idea further up the chain...

Speaking of Molder, here's the debut album from their friends in Organ Failure. Heavy goregrind in the vein of Dead Infection and Regurgitate. It's magnificent.

 

Fire in the Mountains was wonderful. It will not happen next year but 2024 should be it's return! I hope I can meet some of you guys then!

And on a side note my local venue has a Moonspell, Swallow the Sun, and Witherfall date so I am assuming there is a tour.

Man, I love this way this current new wave of old school death metal bands going on right now, it’s a total shot in the arm that the genre needed imo.
