Feels like animated is the best fit given where it left off.

 

I can't remember if I ever finished season three, but I know I own it lol. Last I remember is the cursed high school and something with his dad. I should rewatch, at least from season two on.

 

That Pearl trailer shows a lot more than what we saw after X in theaters. I'm actually kind of excited, even though, as I've said before, I don't usually seek out slashers.

 

Is X Streaming?

 

Pretty sure it's VOD only right now. Haven't heard about it coming to any streaming services.

 

A lot of A24 stuff does seem to hit Prime eventually, and I believe HBO is getting a handful of A24 movies soon

 

s3 is probably the worst one, but it's still a bunch of fun. 2 was definitely the peak

 

Anybody get a chance to watch the IT documentary that came out today?

 

Man. Adoring the WNUF Sequel so far. These movies are like a warm blanket to me.

 

It's about the TV series, right? I've only seen the new adaptation

 

Right! You should definitely check out the miniseries, but idk if it's streaming anywhere

Is it the same concept as the original?

 

X is on Prime in Canada, not sure if you can get that with a VPN

 

Same structure, but this time, the first half hour is a daytime talk show (like an Oprah thing) with weirdo guests and then the next hour is essentially a regional parody of the Fact or Fiction: Alien Abduction tape. Takes place in the 90s, about eight years after the first. Plenty of commercials (they don't repeat this time) and cameos/throwbacks to the first film.

Just finished Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City. Not a very good movie by any means, the acting was pretty bad and the CGI was generally terrible, but I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t kind of a fun nostalgia trip. Cool seeing some of the characters/locations from the first two games, which were a huge part of my childhood

 

I just found out Joe Dante was a creative consultant on Eerie, Indiana, directed 5 episodes, and made an appearance in one.

It's on Roku Channel for free by the way.

 

I've never seen this show, but it's been on my list forever. Seems right up my alley in a late 90s nostalgia kid kinda way
