I feel like Thursday is worse off than their peers in that area. I know more people who think they really fell off after FC and only want to hear those songs than people who want to hear mostly later stuff (WATT included). I've never done a deep dive into their Spotify numbers or anything, but they way they've focused on the FC nostalgia over the past five-ish years seems to support that too. And unlike Thrice / SF / The Used, Thursday doesn't have new music that they're excited about and want to promote and play - that alone might shift the balance.

 

Geoff mentioned on the brooklyn vegan podcast that they've written stuff but nothing they feel worth releasing. I wouldn't hold my breath for new music from them.

I doubt they ever put out new material again. I feel like after this next run of FC shows they’ll probably go on another semi-hiatus or just slow down their touring schedule. I think this is like the 3rd or 4th time I’ve said this, but they’re beating a dead horse beyond belief at this point, and it doesn’t help that it’s not even the complete lineup playing too. The appeal is being lost quickly

I just wanna know when T Swift will tour again. Will it be a full stadium route? Will she try something small for fun to start out with? Pull a Twenty One Pilots move doing three different sized venues in one city across the country?

 

Gotta say, that Twenty One Pilots tour where they did smaller to larger venues over multiple nights in those cities...what a fun idea. Would love to see more artists do that.

 

Apparently Woe, Is me is teasing a revival/tour with Michael & Hance on vocals. I’m curious if we’ll get Tyler Carter diss track version 3 if they drop a new song lol

 

the sheer insanity of a taylor tour doing anything but nfl stadiums will hopefully keep it to just that. as much as i'd love to see Taylor at like the Ryman... you just can't at her level. not with how the current ticket resell landscape looks.

 

There was a $1,234 third level balcony verified resale ticket for Paramore in Atlanta Friday morning after everything sold. Can’t even imagine what her tickets would look like.

 

Taylor at the Tabernacle would be more than I have in my 401k (worth it probably though)

 

As much as I dont vibe with their direction, i might actually try to hit that Turnover show. Looks like they've been playing a good chunk of PV songs and Humblest Pleasures.
