The new Zach Bryan kicks so much ass. He's on a bullet train to superstardom. Obviously not all 34 songs are going to hit, but I whittled it down to 16 that I really love. 16 good songs on an album is a lot! Heavy Eyes is an absolute banger

It’s cool that he’s so prolific but I honestly think it would benefit him a lot to slow down a bit.

Slowing down would probably be wise, and I'd assume he will at some point. New song is great, though.

I am a big fan of his but I really couldn't manage to listen to this whole album. I tried a couple times and couldn't get into it. I listened to your 16-track version and fell in love. So many amazing songs on here. I would say 20 out of the 34 songs are incredible. That's still an insane number of great songs. I can't believe he's already releasing another 9 songs / half hour of music.

Not strictly country, but this song is really great. Gives me a bit of an Andrew Combs vibe.

Their whole recent EP is pretty good actually, but they're one of those bands with two singers that split songs, and in this case, the guy that sings the song above (and "Rose" and "Driving in the Rain") is much more appealing to me than the other singer, who has more of a typical country voice. He's not bad per se, but I do think the songs would sound better if they were all done by this guy.

Kelsea is pretty firmly a pop artist now, I think, but "Heartfirst" is maybe the catchiest song I've heard this year, so I'm excited to hear the album.

Sounds like fall release for the new Cory Branan, and album could be titled 'When I Go I Ghost' based on the tour name

Will Hoge - John Prine's Cadillac.

Hoge used to be one of my guys, but his last album and these new songs seem so lifeless and dull to me. I think a big part of it is the production, which I’m pretty sure he’s been handling himself. But I also just don’t get any of the energy or passion I used to hear in his stuff. Bums me out.

I dig the song after not being a huge fan of the last album or two. Small Town Dreams is the last one I LOVED.

I like "John Prine's Cadillac" ok. It's at least a fun idea for a song. The other tracks he's released from this new record didn't grab me at all.

I enjoyed Anchors, but I think that one kind of sows the seeds for some of the songwriting-on-autopilot I've had with his last few albums. Once he wasn't really pushing to make it big anymore, I think he stopped pushing his sound in new directions. Small Town Dreams is arguably TOO shiny and close to mainstream country, but you can't say it doesn't sound like he's going for something on that album.

Idk what this is but I really hope it’s means a new album is finally coming.

Yeah, Small Town Dreams and prior is where its at. I def see the argument for it being a bit too shiny though.

He was absolutely one of my favorite artists from The Man Who Killed Love in '06 through Anchors in 2017. Draw The Curtains, The Wreckage, and Never Give In are some of my favorite albums. But I kind of feel like he just ran out of melodies on these past few albums.

I desperately want him to change things up. I'd love to hear him do some big kind of Springsteen/Born to Run production. Him hiring the team that did Imploding the Mirage with The Killers would be best-case scenario for me, right now. The meat-and-potatoes country-adjacent singer-songwriter thing he's been doing has kind of gotten tired, though.
