I remember that album art but not really the music, I'll at least revisit the Will song

  5. They've probably been posted in this thread before, but once in a while, they get brought back to mind.

  11. I played shows with The Morning Of AND Driver Friendly. Only once each, but still awesome. I love and miss both of those bands.

This is gonna be a huge longshot, but here we go. I need help finding a band that was posted about on AP.net. I can't for the life of me remember what they were called. Here's what I have to go off of:

-Their LP cover art featured a naked man. His penis was visible. I don't think his face was. Maybe there were train tracks visible in the background, maybe not. His body took up maybe 60-70% of the art. Sepia color pallet.
-They had that nostalgic rock feeling to them. Like they could have fit in on a tour with Gaslight Anthem, Restorations, etc.
-Their singles were bangers, but most of the LP was actually rather subdued.
    -Maybe they were from Portland?
-I wanna say their name was something like a plural noun. Like Jaws (but that's not right).

    Any help? Anyone?

  19. They're not broken up but haven't released anything since 2016 either. I'm mentioning them because they just played their first shows in five years and, after years of silence, the singer clarified their current status in a new podcast. They're still figuring things out because they're not planning to be a full time band again, but they're sitting on a ton of material waiting to be recorded. Out of the latter, a new Young Guns album will eventually see the light of day, as well as a side-project that comprises of the singer and the lead guitarist.

Oh yeah these guys. Saw them on a small stage at Reading back in the day.

  21. Yeah they're great live! I saw them open for Lostprophets back then, which feels like a lifetime ago considering... uh... what happened with the former and also because most bands of that late 00s UK alt scene are now gone except for a very few (Deaf Havana, The Xcerts, You Me At Six...).

Yeah I've seen Young Guns a few times and they always got the crowd going. They had a lot of momentum in the late 00's but it felt like the albums that came after their debut lost it for them very quickly.
