OID is fine, a solid record even, but this band definitely has better records

HHOP is bottom-tier. AKNF is great but everything that came after is better.

HHOP rules. I grew up with this band (they’re local to me) before the world knew who they were, and I remember the buzz around here when that record came out. I was at a house party they played Makes No Difference (not the one from the music video lol) and a couple other songs at, and it was one of most fun live sets I’ve ever seen. I definitely like that record more than Underclass, OID, 13, and probably SBM.

AKNF, Chuck, and DTLI are their peak.

AKNF is a perfect pop punk record, the disrespect is weird lol. Like if someone got into Sum with UH or whatever I get it, but otherwise idk lol. I do prefer Chuck/DTLI Sum, but the first four >

Opinions and all that, but I genuinely can’t process liking Underclass more than AKNF

I literally always forget what tracks Underclass has and then when I revisit them I’m like ahhhh… these are very forgettable.

Outside of the singles, dont listen to aknf much. UH on the other hand i dont mind listening to from front to back (minus a track or two).

AKNF is a cool mix of hard rock and punk rock.
chuck and infected lean more to the heavier/metal side.

voices tries to bring back the heavy, but feels a bit disjointed to me.
decline does a batter job of being parts infected and killer. the 'ballads' are infectious, as are the slower-ish jams on killer.

i hope this new double album is half killer, and half chuck +.
...i'd also be down for an ep of just metallica/maiden/sabbath covers too. i'm sure they can pull it off.

too bad Stevo32 is out of the band or we could have had more Pain For Pleasure tracks

Outside of Heart Attack (which is a top 5 Sum 41 song for me) and Pain for Pleasure (which I would never listen to outside the context of the album), I legitimately could not tell you without looking it up any songs that come after Motivation on the tracklist. (Edit: Ok, I just looked it up and I thought In Too Deep came before Motivation while completely forgetting that Rhythms exists). Which to me isn't a great sign for how I feel about an album, especially given the amount that I've played AKNF over the years. Despite its name, and despite the fact that it's always a very fun listen all the way through, there several songs that just don't really stand out to me. Underclass Hero has some of that issue in the back half, but the first 9 or so songs on the album have always been very meaningful for me on a deeper level than even the peak moments of AKNF (which are more just "fun", not that that's a bad thing)
