Yeah, this song is brutal. Love hearing Jason again. These guys should never not be making music together tbh.

excited for that, although I will say that I AM is probably my favorite BTA album.

Oh, I remember them. Those first couple albums were pretty sick back in the day. Honestly had no idea they had more than three, lol; shows how far I fell from this scene.

Love that they’ve got another Dan Seagrave album cover.

I never even gave I AM a chance tbh. After CC, I fell out on them. Now is a great time for me to give it a shot.

    I do not exist.

I never really got into them but I did enjoy them supporting The Chariot on a UK your. There was a fun thread throughout their set where they debated whether ‘beards’ or ‘skins’ were better because two had beards and two were clean shaven. Quite fun.

    … and then The Chariot.

    Fight the long defeat.

Dichotomy and Celestial Completion are both incredibly solid metal records. I'm stoked to see Jason's back with them! I never gave I AM the time of day after he left the band, but maybe it's worth investigating musically...

New track is great. Really glad that we'll only be waiting two months before the record's out, too.

If I have one regret, it's that I never got to see The Chariot live.

I think in terms of overall sound, Dichotomy is the perfect mix. I love CC and while Physics of Fire never landed for me, I still could appreciate their ambition. Also, Endure is still a banger. Again, this is speaking purely to Jason albums (I still plan to try I AM). Terminate Damnation was hugely influential on me and truly blew my highschool mind. I think it was also my first taste of long-form songs categorized by sections or parts and it held my attention all the way through. Also the juxtaposition of a song like Night’s Sorrow with a beautiful guitar and no vocals going into The Epigone (which still features one of the heaviest breakdowns every imo) was something I didn’t know you could do in 2005 haha.

I loved Terminate, Physics was really really good, Dichotomy was fine but didn't hold me at all. Celestial was excellent and I loved it. Never got into I Am at all.

Need to a full run through them all.

This is unlocking core memories. I saw BTA open for August Burns Red in like 2007. They were only able to play like 3 songs because of their time slot and they had to cut off like half of the song 'Elegy'.

Terminate Damnation is an all timer. Physics is a step down (not a fan of the clean vocals at all) but it's still a solid album. Dichotomy is great and I never listened to Celestial Completion. I Am was ok but it honestly didn't feel like the same band.

    Stoked for the new stuff.

So much energy and chaos! I saw them at Chain Reaction back in the day and they had the whole place just drenched with sweat. Such great times haha.

One of the few bands that consistently toured the UK. I think I have seen them and Underoath the most, followed by mewithoutYou. No one else has been over that frequently.

They were a whirlwind of chaos and I loved every experience watching them.

I saw them on their farewell tour, there's a low quality video somewhere out there of me stage diving during Yanni Depp

Another one from the wayback machine, Satellites & Sirens - Breaking the Noise. Does anyone remember this band? Such a great sound that I think holds up really well over the years.

Such a time capsule with their music video:crylaugh:
