Shocker. Probably the only thing they can do to try to be temporarily relevant again.

 

Their current tour actually seems to be doing alright? They sold out the Philly date and that was a 1000 people and I saw they sold out the NYC date.

 

This. Also most of their big songs were from the "Unconditional" & Challenger" eras, and they're doing fairly well with the Active Rock charts right now. I feel like a "The Hollow" tour would do well with their diehards and some former scene kids, but I don't think it'll get them playing large theatres again, and I don't think they're expecting it to.

Octane are playing their new stuff non stop and their tour is doing great (from what I've seen). I would actually say that right now they are at the peak of their popularity.

I saw The Goo Goo Dolls there a couple of years ago, people behind me were pissed because I was standing during the whole show. Like seriously, I don't come to rock shows to sit down and drink tea.

One of the few bands I haven't seen where I eventually hope to one day... even if it's at a state fair. Would go hard in the paint rocking out to that set.

 

I saw them play at a Dew Tour stop in like 2005ish and it was still one of the funnest shows I’ve been to. Hoobastank was also on the bill haha

 

Well-deserved. Gonna try to pull off seeing them at the Ventura Fair this summer

 

the lack of "Your Star" is a bummer, but looks and sounds like AAR haven't missed a beat, which is fun to see. i think they're playing that Vegas festival right? if so, i'll definitely watch them since i've never seen them live.

 

Yes they are and good choice of a band to see
