FUCKIN SAVAGES IN THAT FUCKIN BOX Prestigious

I actually don't know much about most other shows, I'm just super biased and preparing to rage when Ozark wins something over this show

How Ozark got so many nominations blows my mind. People must not have watched it.

I liked it for the first three seasons, sometimes loved it, but this last season was truly bad in every way. Certainly not award worthy

Ozark is the definition of "fine" to me. It's far from horrible and far from Award-worthy, it's fine

That’s fair for everything but the last season. The last season is bad bad.

I feel bad for even mentioning it in this thread tbh lol

So yeah anyways. Hopefully they win something, it blows my mind that they're like 0 for 39 or whatever.

I haven't seen succession but know it pretty much swept last year, but the Emmys do make odd decisions. Christopher Walken being nominated for Severance is bizarre one to me. He didn't have much to do and his limited screen time wasn't exactly impactful or powerful so that one is a head scratcher for sure and it should have left a spot open for another shows actor.

Ozark's final season was so lazy and repetitive. A complete waste of nomination space this year.

I LOVED Severance, might be my favorite show of 2022 (BCS could still beat it out) and Emmys always like to hook onto a new darling.

I've never watched Succession (it's on my list to watch) but given the fact it's nominated damn near 30 times, it's going to win quite a bit...unless there is some sort of voter fatigue.

Severance definitely my favorite show of the year

Severance ruled. BCS deserves so much though. It certainly deserves a lot more attention generally than it seems to be getting now. I tell people at work how excited I am on Mondays and most people still ask (in a very detached way) if its a prequel of some kind to BB.

I'm halfway through Succession, definitely enjoying it, I feel like mid season 2 is dragging a tiny bit but i'm also bad at watching stuff consistently these days.

Succession is definitely good. But agree with @oldjersey about season 2 dragging a little, and the same with season 3 dragging a little in the beginning, but both seasons end with 2-3 episode runs that are amazing

I love succession and severance. I watched the first four episodes of Ozark, and it certainly wasn’t bad, but it just felt like “we have breaking bad at home”.

Certainly doesn’t help that I view Jason Bateman as Michael Bluth and everything he’s in.

BTW how does this show have nothing for cinematography this year? It's been especially immaculate this season.

    I don't get it.

Great episode. Lalo death was very well done. Gus planned that shit but was still sweating. It wasn’t neat.

Ten minute episodes on their website I believe, no reason for me to not check it out I guess. That animated Slippin Jimmy series sounds abysmal from what I hear though, so avoid that lol
