Bruce, RATM and Frank Ocean would be an interesting set of headliners for Coachella lol

It ends the Friday of weekend 1. I’d say he’s out for Coachella, the rumor is that he’s part of a possible second Desert Trip

  5. I’d have to fuck around and go to Coachella ngl

That makes a lot more sense. They’ve done a 60s and 70s version…who would they pull for an 80s Desert Trip? Bruce, U2, Depeche Mode (?), The Cure…ummmm trying to think of a female act that would fit.

Can't imagine we'll see any Depeche Mode shows any time soon. While it was pretty well known that Andy Fletcher didn't do much in terms of recording/performance, he was Martin Gore's childhood friend and I imagine that both Martin and Dave are still likely not sure of how (and if) to move forward with DM.

If they got Kate Bush then I’d be forced to find a way to make it

  10. First tour in this thread in a long time that I'm drawing a complete blank on

Melt-Banana is a quintessential Japanese noise rock band. Deaf Club is a grindcore supergroup. Wand is a noisy garage rock band. No Age is Noise Pop with obvious garage leanings. Ed Schrader's Music Beat is dance-post-punk.

I honestly don't know the others though.

10/21 in Queens w/ support and venue TBA though... guess I'm following Melt-Banana on Spotify and social now

Yeah Melt-Banana has been around for quite some time. They’ve gotten some good gigs opening for Melvins, Tool, and I think Primus? Cool to see them touring again

Serious answer: Generally good bands that deserve a listen, especially Melt Banana. They're incredible live.

Serious/joke answer: Better bands than half the stuff that gets peddled in this thread.
