Just took a look at The Weeknd tour, tickets are not moving in some markets. There's plenty of tickets priced at $34 for the Philly show through Ticketmaster, as well as any date that's not in NYC, Chiacgo, Toronto, or LA.

These dates have to be considered quite a disappointment with how they're selling...

    Philly
    Denver (40% of tickets unsold)
    Foxboro
    Detroit
    Tampa (selling 4-packs for $99)
Miami (entire upper deck sidelines unsold)
Atlanta (50% of tickets unsold, offering Groupons)
Seattle (over half of upper deck unsold)

    I wish LA had $34 tickets :(

hopefully he downsizes to arenas for the next tour, stadiums were a little too ambitious especially with Doja dropping

The price of gas coupled with the increase in everything else is really making people re-think big events. Not to mention, a lot of those stadiums I think you are locked in at like $50 to park and what not plus the concession fees for alcohol being out of control, I don't see how many people consider this a worthwhile event to go to.

The closest show to me was Toronto and tickets were $350 CAD resale bc it was sold out. Legit cheaper for me to get a hotel and drive to Boston than buy two tickets to the Toronto show. The show ended up getting cancelled at the last minute, hoping tickets drop for the new date.

Doja dropping I think hurt a bit too with people who were wanting to really see her. I believe I read where people were able to get refunds for it cus of that too

I mean, the vocalist hit me with a loogie right between the eyes from like 15 feet away during one of their shows, but I’m guessing that’s not the behaviors OP was referring to

it wasn’t about like conduct or anything, it’s just something that has been in the hardcore scene since they broke. They seem to lean right, being careful to not comment too far about it. But they are very pro Texas, 1st amendment rights, they have a song about people not willing to protect and serve anymore. And this I can vouch for personally. I was at a show and their singer said something like “can I hear all the ladies out there? I love to watch those big beautiful booty bitches shaking their ass to that hard shit”

Wasn't there something about STYG lately about the war in Russia/Ukraine? They pissed a lot of liberals off with their comments

their singer is a communist and was defending Putin in the past, not the war or anything but things he has done in the past. So when war broke out, people basically brought up his past comments.

The lead singer of your avatar came on stage at a Fall Out Boy secret show at Chain Reaction years ago that I was at and goes "what's up everyone, just wanted to come out and talk about two of my favorite things - boobs" then walked off stage. So there's that.
