The songwriting is Oso Oso level good.

 

Decent first listen. Liked it more than their previous stuff. Hoping it clicks more with future listens. Agree that it’s odd that Riley isn’t the closer. Though I like Feel Something.

I got mine in the other day. Shoutout to CYLS for including a pink starburst and a pin in the package

 

I pre-ordered a t-shirt back in May that still hasn't shipped. I just sent an email to ask about the status. Maybe that'll help move things along? And yeah, I can't stop listening to this album. Perfection from top to bottom.

 

Closing track rules, love the organ. Wish the rest of this record sounded more like that.

 

my record is supposed to come today! I'm so excited I feel like I haven't gotten an LP in the mail in forever (I ordered this one to make myself feel better last month when I was isolated with covid lol)

 

I also ordered a bundle with a tshirt and the vinyl, so maybe those orders are being held up. I got the Harsh Toyotathon shirt.

 

If you haven't received a shipping notification yet you might want to send them an email. Cathy from CYLS replied to me and said she packed up my order today, and then a minute later I received the shipping notification. I know they're a small operation so it's possible some orders maybe fell through the cracks?

I got an order update yesterday - I also ordered a CD and those booklets got fucked up:

This is Keith from Count Your Lucky Stars. I know you are waiting on your Camp Trash CD (+ vinyl). The reason it has not shipped yet is because there was an error at the plant and they accidentally printed the CDs without lyrics in the booklet. So that sucker is blank white pages in the middle of the book when you take out the booklet to open it up.

I've spoken to the plant and they are running the job again with the mistake corrected, but I'm not 100% sure of the timeframe in which it'll be done. I am guessing a few weeks to a month, but it could be sooner. They have assured me it's a priority, so hopefully that means sooner. I was trying to hold off on sending this email so I could give you more information + a timeline that you would get your order.

So there are two solutions I can offer you-:
1) We can send you the order now, it'll go out tomorrow and your booklet will just be without lyrics. The front and back pages are still there. There isn't anything wrong with the actual CD, just half of the booklet.
2) We can wait until the right one comes in and send it to you then. In this case, I'll update you as soon as we have a new ship date.

In any case, this isn't on you so to make it up to you, please choose an additional CD you want and we will throw it in your order free of charge to make up for the issues we are running into.

I'm sorry about this, this is a new one for us, but mistakes happen and we are trying hard to make
the best out of a bad situation.

It's amazing how many little touches elevate songs on this record. The little guitar lead that comes in when they sing 'I used to smoke cigarettes...' just sends that song into the stratosphere, and it was already a great song.

 

i love that this could have either come out in 2005 or 2022
