the GBC game? or the actual game lol

I kinda want to play the GBC one but I don't know if it sucks or not

 

I played it as a kid on the GBC. Fun game at the time but idk if it holds up.

 

Pushing through XC2 and I’m getting VERY close to finishing it’s just a certain field skill kind of stopped me in my tracks, haha. But yeah, after I’m done with that, I should be jumping into Torna immediately.

 

I'm guessing you're on Chapter 7? I hit a bump at the very end too but thankfully had solutions very quickly.

Favorite pouch items will level up field skills thank god.

 

I think I'm going to start XC1 tonight after just finishing 2. Going to save Torna for a little down the road.

 

Chapter 9 actually! There’s a door I have to open on top of the world tree and requires Level 5 focus haha. I have Wilfric (I think I spelled that correctly?) and I have a board game in the pouch as one of his favourite items and it takes about 2 hours to refresh so I’ve been doing some other stuff while that goes on.

 

Nooooo you don't need to wait! You can just bang them out one after another and it will qualify for the upgrade. I had to do the same thing.

GBC game

 

Xenoblade and Splatoon don’t excite me. I need Nintendo to pull a rabbit out of the hat and announce a new Donkey Kong game or something. Prime trilogy would do. Wii Punchout remastered.

 

They are supposedly working on a donkey kong game, I think

 

Supposedly prime 1 remake is the big non Pokémon fall game

 

They will literally put anything on the shop.

 

So much for Nintendo's family-friendly image. For shame, Nintendo.

 

Except the Pokemon and Zelda back catalog.

 

I have a question for Zelda fans. How much worse is Windwaker for GameCube vs Wii U? I have the opportunity to play the GameCube edition on my tablet, but man, those quality of life improvements in the HD edition sound nice. I absolutely love gyro controls for aiming, it makes everything so much simpler in BOTW. Hard to justify buying a Wii U for one game

 

The Wii U version is miles better.

 

Damn haha, yeah that's about what I expected to hear. Maybe one of these days I'll track down a used Wii U, but not for $200 like I've been seeing online. Still holding out hope for Switch, but not feeling too hopeful these days

 

Lmao I just saw this when I was looking at the new releases this week and my wife was like wtf is this

 

I like the gamecube one better, but I also enjoy tedium in games if it is done right and I think WW does it right.

Yeah, I've played them both. I don't hate it by any means. It's just not something I'd pre-order or go out and buy on day one.

 

I could not get into Splatoon 2 at all. Too hard. It isn't fun when you're getting killed every time you respawn
