Not sure if it’s just me but the last few days this thread and any other tweet heavy threads are either just refusing to load on safari and just showing giant white space or when trying in chrome it errors out with this. I’ve cleared cookies, rebooted, etc.

The only thing I'd like for this idiot to clear up is whether he tried to reboot the OS or not. If he didn't try holding down the two steering wheel buttons to reboot the OS, then he's a dumbass that shouldn't own any electric vehicle, as all of them have some sort of method to handle this situation. Granted Tesla's are the only EV's with almost no buttons, so it's different, but googling "reboot Tesla" literally tells you what you need to do.

To those wondering, the drive system is completely disconnected from the infotainment. You should be able to reboot the car while driving without any sort of drive issues. You can't hear the turn signals, but the turn lights, brake lights, everything should work fine if there's a problem with the screen(s). Pretty certain they had to make it this way due to regulatory and safety concerns.

This is going to be a much more prevalent issue in the future when things like next-gen Carplay are popping up in vehicles without conventional gauges at all. When it's all screens, those screens will reboot, and not always when it's convenient for the driver. Comes with the territory of replacing everything with technology. While I'm not advocating for it, it's the way the car industry is headed.
