mostly enjoyed this season.

thing i’m most unsure about is Allison’s arc, but guessing we might get more clarity next season (if we get a next season)?

 

4 episodes in and I’ve been kinda half paying attention to it so far. It’s whatever.

 

We haven't finished watching the season yet but I already haven't enjoyed it as much as season 2. The 60s setting and Klaus starting a cult is hard to beat haha.

 

As much as I enjoyed it, this felt like a bottle episode of a season. Like, they kept it to as few sets and extras as possible. It's not nearly as awkwardly noticeable as the final episode of WandaVision where the townspeople are all six feet apart, nor is it necessarily a detriment of the storytelling--that's still as strong as ever. I just wonder if they'd have done anything differently had they not been confined to keeping it to such a small scale due to covid restrictions.

 

Really struggling to keep interested in this tbh

 

Bottle episode is the perfect description for this season. I’m very bored.

 

The last season definitely had a lot more going off for it.

I enjoyed the season for the most part, but Allison annoyed the hell out of me.

 

Enjoyed the season overall.

I didn't find the bottle feeling to be a downside. The show's tonal fluidity is one of its strengths, and the "Footloose" scene highlights that for me. Ritu Arya elevates every scene she's in, so I'm delighted that we got plenty of Lila after the first couple episodes. Plus, it was so heartwarming to see Elliot Page's character coming out as trans accepted immediately by everyone.

Wish we had more time with the full Sparrow team. Also, I wasn't much a fan of how one-note Ben was, and thought the romance between Luther and Sloane moved way too quickly.

 

i was real worried that Lila dropping off Stan was all we would see from her, glad she got stuck with the gang.

Lila and Diego are easily the best part of this show

I'm not sure I even like anybody else this season

 

Ok yes I meant to post about this, there’s some really excessive vignettes in a few scenes, I thought something was wrong with my tv

 

I liked how it ended decently enough, but season was kind of a mess. And goddamn Ben sucked. Stanley was annoying as hell to me. And episode 8 is up there with one of the more worthless filler episodes ever. Meh

 

I have 4 episodes left and don’t even feel like finishing it

 

i’ve liked it so far through 4 and don’t feel like the quality is that different from s1/2

 

Honestly really enjoyed this season. I hope it gets renewed for one more because there’s so much to still learn at the end of this one.

 

I don't think I'll ever truly recover from hearing that particular version of House of the Rising Sun that was used at the end of episode 4

 

I think it was fucking Jeremy renner

 

Yup. I thought I was hallucinating when I read his name on the closed caption so I hit rewind and it was totally him. I knew he has a music career but never bothered to listen to anything he'd done.

 

I muted it as soon as the captions told me I was about to hear Jeremy Renner sing

Anyways, not really sure how I feel about this show anymore. I’m curious for next season but have mostly been frustrated. Felt like some of the character arcs moved too quickly. Sloane and Luther were sweet but jarring. Felt like I blinked and Allison was a different person. It the arc makes sense to me but I think it didn’t happen as organically as it should’ve. Loved Klaus, Lila, and Viktor as expected. I thought the dynamic between Viktor and Luther was really sweet and endearing. I really enjoyed the Sparrows, especially Fei but man they got wiped out quickly. Felt real underutilized. They’ve got my interest with a new reality and the fallout of Allison’s choices though.

 

Finally got around to the new season (sorry this bump isn't renewal news) and I basically liked it as much as the rest of the show, though I will say this was probably the weakest one. It was random as hell that they just decided to start saying "fuck" this season lol, and I absolutely HATED Allison by the end, she literally does not deserve to be happy after her actions and behavior this season. Unless they're straight up setting her up to be a villain next season (which hopefully we do get) I don't see how she's redeemable

Agree with someone else that Ritu Arya is fantastic and I can't wait to see her in more stuff
