A lot of AEW PPVs feel this way, but, it kind of makes sense this time considering how Punk being hurt threw things.

 

I'd put like 99.9% odds Kenny isnt returning, but if he is...man, you save that for an unannounced Okada v Kenny match. Cause then people buy your PPV every time for the next 10 years just in case something that wild happens again

So she can debut hot, feud a few weeks with Britt, then disappear to Dark for a few months amirite? Mostly kidding but I still don’t have full faith that she’d be used any better there.

 

WWE never doing a horsewomen four way match is such a missed opportunity. Really needed to do it 3-4 years ago but guess they wanted to wait for the perfect moment and now it’s probably never gonna happen

 

Also the whole 4HW vs 4HW which would have been shit and made no sense but why should they have stopped them.

 

I will say that the, 100%, cant miss, WWE top level stars have been used incredibly well in AEW overall.

Jericho, Moxley, Danielson, all got treated like stars and have had amazing booking. Even that next tier down, your Cole's, your Miro's, a Malakai or even Brodie...all have been given something meaningful early on, have had highs higher than their WWE runs, despite fits and starts. Its the "they were good in NXT but floundered on the main roster" people that have been more hit or miss in AEW.

But Sasha is a comfortable 2-tiers above anyone in the AEW womens division; and a Jade v Sasha feud could be Sasha v Bianca levels good, that I'd trust them to book it right. In the way that I still dont think Athena should be in AEW cause she's gonna be lost in the shuffle by All Out is my guess (which will be even truer if Sasha shows up)

 

I dont think WWE has booked any star worse than Sasha in terms of talent to credibility. It took her 4+ years on the main roster to successfully defend a title. On 3 separate occasion she built credible tag teams only to see them split for short-term story convenience that hurts her.

It'd be hard for AEW to book her worse than WWE has, basically...and thats before you even factor in Michael Cole screaming "Its Boss Time"
