I've had Take a Breath in my head every day for the last few weeks. I think it's become my favorite song in the album. So good.

 

It’s like the guys and Matt get further and further away from talking about the damn track at hand and instead always go into long tangents about the history of the band.. it’s low key annoying lol

I wanna watch a deep dive into the making of the record not regurgitate what’s already been shared about the band’s history/inner turmoil.

 

Agreed 100%. Good idea, bad execution.

 

It started good but it just seems like it’s getting more and more unfocused/off track every video lol

The last one about Thorn I gave up 35 minutes in cause it was just Chris chatting about anything BUT the song lol

 

Haven’t listened to the past few episodes but I’m not sure I’ve ever been satisfied by a track by track, whether article or podcast, whether lyrical or musical.

 

It also depends on who Matt talks to. No Oasis relies so much on Chris, so I was surprised to see Aaron there instead. It would've made more sense to have Chris as well.

 

Anybody heard this track yet? Haven't heard of The Safest Ledge, but the track features Aaron on vocals; track as a whole sounds fucking dope. DTGL/LITSOS-era style Underoath vibes

 

They just uploaded the best performance from Digital Ghost.

 

Absolutely fantastic. Love this song so much. Didn’t actually get round to watching Digital Ghost - a lot more produced than I expected. More music video vibes than livestream!

 

thorn is def my favorite on the album! this performance was really cool, but that pitch correction might be a little too obvious

 

Thorn is my favorite DG performance for sure with We’re All Gonna Die being a close second. I still prefer their DG versions over studio too.

Just started it and a snippet of the demo played right away. Sounds like Spencer was initially singing the intro, and pulling off higher notes in it.

It’s too bad these deep dives are more like therapy sessions than deep dives into the actual song lol

 

This one is really good to watch. Loved all of these Digital Ghost recordings a ton.

 

Yeah this is great - I’m still dying to have these properly released as a live record. I know I’ve mentioned this a million times but idc lol

In the meantime, I’m just ripping the audio from these YouTube videos and it sounds fine I suppose ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
