Yeah that match was a bit hard to watch. Felt like something was gonna go terribly wrong at any moment

 

Alvarez and Meltzer loved it. P sure they are gonna push Cody when he comes back lol.

This honestly kind of goes true for Kenny Omega...dude was dealing with a hernia, shoulder and knee problems, and to top it all off, vertigo. At some point, you put everyone in the ring at risk working at that level of hurt.

We're clearly gonna see how truly hurt Cody is by how long it takes him to return, but if its actually a "torn off the bone" pec injury, getting into the ring, as cool as the visual was, wasnt smart

I mean, at that point it’s just pain tolerance. It’s not going to get worse, and he decided to just work through it. Can’t imagine how bad it hurt, but damn it was impressive to see him get through it

 

It's weird to say fuck anyone who has respect for what Cody did. Dude had a legacy defining match, he finished the match, he will be okay and return. You can play the role of 'this is what he should have done' but that's such a surface level reaction to have without considering any actual factors in the reality of this.

 

Exactly, the doctors probably said, 'well it can't get worse'.

The only reason they advertised the injury is because of how visually obvious it was.

Professional athletes work with injuries all the time, it is only wrong if they do it by someone forcing them or threatening their career if they don't play through it.


Cody just made himself a massive babyface star doing that match, it will pay off exponentially in his return in my opinion.

I played through every single playable one back to back to back two years ago and by the time I got to KH3, I still struggled to keep track of the story.

 

KH3 fucking sucked ass

Did it? For some reason I thought I did play it upon release, but I actually don't think I ever did. I did a playthrough of most of the games before 3 came out, and then lent my copy of 3 to my brother before I ever played it, and I think he still has it.

 

I really want to do a sign for the Detroit show but am not sure what yet. Kinda wanna do a quote from Mario RPG.

 

I didn't enjoy it much at all. I've never been very good at following the story, but from a gameplay perspective it was so incredibly underwhelming. It didn't feel creative or fun in a way the first two were. Also wasn't big on the new worlds.
