Just shows his blatant disregard and that he dgaf about the outcome because he got what he wanted already. I think amber is so incredibly brave for showing up for the verdict. I heard ppl speculate neither needed to be there and some ppl didn't expect either to show up because the cameras would capture their reaction. Even so I thought he'd have more respect than to be in a bar/at a show. I thought amber kept her composure very well and tbh im glad she didn't have to see him in person for the verdict

Omg the headlines are like "Depp and stenographer heartwarming bond" like how are ppl not immediately appalled and disgusted??

I saw a comment from someone saying it was proven heard cut off depps finger and when someone respectfully cited sources of how that's not true, they switched to "well fine but it was proven she pooped on his bed" and when the same person again cited sources that it's untrue and the UK judged dismissed that as unlikely and implausible along with their reasoning, they were just like "well fine but I still don't believe amber is is a good person and nothing you say will change my mind" and tbh that is the public response to this case in a nutshell

 

Yupp for the vast majority of these Depp stans this is what it all boils down to. Just takes getting through a couple layers of bullshit to get them to admit it.

 

Those are actually better responses to showing people evidence than I’ve gotten. I keep getting some variation of “no that’s not was proven in the trial” and meanwhile I’m showing you evidence from the trial

Tbh maybe it's just the ppl i follow, but even in the more pro-amber articles and tweets I've seen, I don't see a ton on how Amber's sexuality played a role in this case. I don't think u can divorce her sexuality from depps jealousy towards her and how that feeds into the "hypersexual bisexual" trope and while I'm seeing a lot of stats on women in abusive relationships referenced in articles, I'm not rly seeing ppl comment as much on the higher rates of intimate partner violence among bisexual women. Add in the fact that Depps psychologist diagnosed her with histrionic personality disorder is just absurd. Many professionals consider the diagnosis sexist and outdated. Women are much more likely to be diagnosed with it and one of the symptoms is "seductive" behavior. If I see that diagnosis in an evaluation (which is thankfully rare in my experience) I'm immediately incredibly critical and question the validity of the assessor. Srsly most ppl I know are incredulous when they see that diagnosis pop up in this day and age.

 

Momoa and Wan really fought to prevent WB from cutting her out of Aquaman 2, not surprised by him liking the Heard post. Weird that he also liked the Depp one though.

 

The case is very big and important and the result is extremely disheartening. That being said, especially with all of the misinformation out there, trying to keep tabs on every celeb that *might* have an opinion on it (they, or their social media person, liked a post) sounds exhausting
