I fkin love Demolition Hammer but I haven't listen to everything they've released, sounds like this is a good time to fix that

 

Saw the Cavalera brothers play cuts from Beneath the Remains and Arise last night. God those were good records.

I'm not familiar with the opener, Narcotic Wasteland. Worth getting there early for them?

didn't get to catch Narcotic Wasteland, but Malevolent Creation was super good. Definitely recommend seeing them if you get a chance. Dude pulling off those vocal and guitar parts simultaneously was really impressive.

I’m excited.

 

Speaking about the Cavalera brothers, I randomly listened to the latest Sepultura album (Quadra) and was actually impressed. Some solid groove metal full of memorable riffs and that rarely lets up. It makes me want dig into the other post-Roots albums, at least to find out if the mostly negative reaction they get is justified.

edit: I've been stuck watching videos of their current drummer, Eloy Casagrande, for the past hour. Dude's a beast.

 

Some friends of mine play in this band that just put this out, interesting mix of death metal and 90s Euro metalcore. Physicals coming out thru The Coming Strife today!

 

The Coming Strife do a great job of finding bands that keep the 90’s and 00’s metallic Hardcore sounds alive.
