All of you cream soda haters probably think of vanilla as a synonym for “plain” too, huh? To quote the great Nick Wiger: “vanilla is a flavor”. I’d also argue it’s the best flavor.

 

Vanilla ice cream is delicious. Cream soda is not.

i do think vanilla is nearly synonymous with plain but I adore cream soda

 

Go eat a plain greek yogurt and then have a vanilla one. The plain tastes like sewer.

 

Cream soda is pretty good but there's no reason to ever get it when root beer is an option
