    My first reaction to seeing this festival announcement was: A) good for them for knowing their place and B) brilliant decision to start this festival because they’re not a band who probably tours well (at least as headliners) anymore but they know enough larger bands in the scene where they can pull something like this together and make a good chunk of change while doing so.

    Would bet money that third headliner is Taking Back Sunday and they're waiting for the Third Eye Blind tour to pass.

    I hope those all do well, because it’d be really cool if they did more editions of it in different states the next few years. I’m surprised they didn’t end up doing one in California

    i'm really afraid tickets are going to be outlandish. i want to go but i'm not paying close to $100 for "emo" nostalgia

  5. $100 is nothing compared to the price of the bigger emo nostalgia festival haha

    WYYY also has way more bands and bigger names so it's not really comparable imo

    For how much ticket prices have increased, I don't think $100 is unreasonable for any of those HH festivals

    people were going to pay it anyways for that lineup with how hot the nostalgia ticket is right now, but i still think it's unreasonably expensive.
    I dunno man, more power to you if you're willing to pay these inflated ticket prices but I'm standing my ground on it.

    i never said I was willing to but to compare it to this Hawthrone Heights fest is kinda ridiculous.

    Things have changed.

    Ohio is $73 after fees.

    The VIP is $229 after fees and includes:
    * One General Admission Ticket
    * Parking (1 parking space per order)
    * Early/private VIP entrance
    * Coffee and donuts with Hawthorne Heights
    * Access to VIP area (marketing tent) throughout the day
    * VIP laminate
    * VIP custom Nalgene water bottle
    * VIP poster

    Kansas and Colorado will probably be around $45-$50 before fees

    much more reasonable than i expected, but ticketmaster loves to fluctuate prices with demand so it'll just go higher if it sells well.

    I would guess new found glory and four year strong get added to this after the Cincinnati date next week

    I would guess Silverstein too but not sure why they wouldn’t be announced now

    Weird Al’s touring guitarist got Covid, so he’s playing the next few shows entirely backstage. That’s… interesting
