As a vet, this sort of shit makes my blood boil. I loathe anyone who preys on vets like this, and to screw around with a patient's mental health in this manner is immoral and disgusting. But hey, the GOP just loves our vets, right?!

"Prosecutors allege Universal Health Services and its affiliates aggressively pushed those with government-sponsored insurance into inpatient mental health care to drive revenue. That’s because, unlike typical private insurers, government plans do not limit the duration of hospital stays for psychiatric care so long as specific criteria are met, making such patients more profitable, the government alleged.

To achieve this end, the company pushed staff at its mental health facilities to misdiagnose patients and falsify documents in order to hospitalize those who did not require it, according to court records. In other cases, they failed to discharge those who no longer needed hospitalization, according to the DOJ."

Look at the difference between these democrat and republican questions on the GA ballot... The way some of the republican questions are written are in such bad faith and so misleading/non-factual that it's just absurd anyone could take them seriously (though plenty will and will answer in exactly the way the question wants). I don't fully like the wording of the democratic questions either but still... They're not nearly as bad.

Georgia ballot questions weigh in on hot topics

I only went to prom once, the year after I graduated. It was a fun time, but I don’t feel like I missed anything by not going when I was in high school.

Oh hell yeah. I really need to do their pizza again. If it’s still open after the concert, Joe’s right on Girard Ave is also a good steak place (original is better but still)

I didn't go to prom because I didn't have friends and would be miserable, I just forgot to make alternate plans and was like this is depressing

My school had prom for juniors and what they called ball for seniors (it was basically the same thing). I didn’t go to prom cause I always hated school dances and stuff like that. I went to ball cause my friends begged me. I ended up going with the girl I rejected the year before cause she asked me again lol. I had more fun than I expected, but I wouldn’t say you are missing out on much by not going.

Yeah, this tweet is BS. I'm not an Elon apologist (i hate the guy personally), but anyone who buys a vehicle should learn safety features like manual door latches before they drive off the lot. This is irresponsible on the driver's part to not know the functions of their vehicle and there's no need to watch a 10-minute video on how to use the manual latch.

Other brands are also on the trend of replacing latches with buttons as the main release for the door, but of course Tesla is the scapegoat in these scenarios. Any door that uses the trim and the top of the window instead of an actual full door will be susceptible to damage if you use it in unintended scenarios. If there's an emergency that causes the electrical system to not work, the last thing i'm going to care about it is whether or not I'm damaging my window trim while trying to exit the vehicle.

I was very much a contrarian for the sake of being a contrarian in high school (and still am in many respects). I still think that prom is kind of stupid and certainly wouldn't go if I were in high school today. But, at least at my school, nobody showed up to school on the day of the prom and this was kind of just accepted. So, of course, because I had to be different, I went to school anyway and was one of like five kids in any of the classes. So, while my opinion about prom hasn't changed, me years later certainly wouldn't pass up an opportunity to stay at home all day just to be contrarian
