Was going to sleep when I saw breaking news flash across my screen. This sucks. My mom was supposed to be two blocks away at an event last night, thankful she didn't go. Ugh.

 

Hillary's supporters are certainly less enthusiastic than Bernie's were. Partially because of the candidate, the campaign, and also because many voted for Bernie (myself included). I wonder if this isn't generally true of primary candidates versus party candidates?

Maybe I missed something, but didn't the implication that Obama wasn't born in the US originate in the 2008 Clinton campaign?

That isn't to say Trump's birther stuff was Clinton's "fault", but it was certainly a talking point that started in her campaign. If memory serves.

No. The volunteer who sent the email was fired and the campaign manager apologized for it immediately. Confirmed by Plouffe (who also says, unambiguously, this did not start from the Clinton camp.)
