It was for sure the most congested I have ever been, shit was wild. I tested positive on day 9, didn’t test day 10, and day 11 I had 2 separate negative at home tests.

Testing isn't recommended until you've reached day 90 after initially testing positive...unless you develop symptoms at some point within this timeframe.

 

I thought that was only the case for PCR tests?

 

I guess I’d take a few factors into consideration, but if I’m symptomatic and test positive through either antigen or PCR I’d just assume I’m definitely positive. Then I’d quarantine for at least 10 days. I guess you could use antigen tests to “clear” yourself sooner…but I’d rather be safe than sorry.

Had the surgery to remove my gallbladder this morning. Just a $150 co-pay with my insurance which is great. Can’t wait to see what the total bill would have been without insurance.

I’m still going on the possibility that COVID played a role in it going bad since my issues started happening a few weeks after. When I saw my primary doctor about this I asked him and he said while he hadn’t seen any literature evidence he wouldn’t be surprised since covid causes all sorts of weird issues (and then went on to say since COVID was created in a lab, who knows what kinds of things it could do to people lol). Maybe I’ll ask my surgeon at my follow up if she thinks there could have been a correlation.
