Thought it was odd there’s no SF/NorCal dates on that tour

 

Megan Thee Stallion at the Preakness. There's a joke there. I know it.

 

I was shocked to see Yellowcard top billed. If you would’ve shown me that in 2015 I’d be like ???

 

I'm glad there are people in the scene validating my feelings.

 

Yeah I honestly thought SDRE would be a headliner but maybe they're just a headliner in my heart

 

Maybe it’s because Sunny Day is going to be a tour and at the moment it’s just Riot Fest for Yellowcard.

 

No idea if this is a tour or not, but Wheatus in Chicago in October.

 

Maybe it's just because I'm a little young for SDRE & Bauhaus, but as someone who's only a casual fan of all three bands, from my perspective it just seems like the right marketing choice.

They have some short runs throughout the year -- 5/19-22, 6/1, 6/23-26, big gap, 10/26-11/5

I'm definitely trying to see them on Long Island next Sunday with MC Lars hahah

 

It's tough because Yellowcard has one song that's ubiquitous in pop culture but if it wasn't for that one song they'd probably have a fan base of a couple hundred people who all post on this site. Whereas SDRE definitely has more core diehards but zero pop culture recognition. Somewhere like Riot Fest I think it would make more sense to our SDRE higher just because of the audience. No idea about Bauhaus

 

How will they all fit on the Cobra Lounge stage?

More importantly: Why does a band like Wheatus need seven members? Did they actually add like, a DJ or something for the record scratches on "Teenage Dirtbag"?

 

Wheatus is such an anomaly. Their drummer plays an electronic drum set, their bassist plays a five-string, and I think some members only solely do backing vocals. Nothing else.

 

So Wheatus is one hit wonder power pop Slipknot?

Saw Wheatus open for The Wonder Years a few years back at a holiday show and it was one of the wildest shows ever.
