absolutely rocked the house tonight and Rosenstock played a few tracks with em. superstars

 

wowowow somehow exceeded expectations, and Jeff was such a great bonus

got a contract renewal today so it's suddenly a lot more likely I see them in October!

 

my fifth time seeing them this past Tuesday and it was the best set they've ever played, this band is so good

 

late night audio is so terrible sometimes, but the band killed it. Jeff being there is a great cherry on top too

 

I’ve never actually seen them before / know nothing about them and definitely thought they were a 3-piece for some reason

 

God they’re the best

 

That was my first time seeing them and they did not disappoint

 

They are a four piece but the singer usually plays guitar if that's where your confusion came from

 

Damn - it's very rare that a late night live performance makes me want to go listen to the actual song.

Literally could not help but smile in the second verse.

 

I really wish the mix on that Seth Meyers recording were good enough for multiple listens, but that was still really fun.

PUP fucking rules

 

it’s funny you say this because I’m about to make a statement that probably makes no sense but I’ve always listened to Pup and felt like the lead singer was playing guitar while singing. Idk why I thought that but funny that my strange thought of that turned out to be right. Who knows, maybe I saw a picture of them or something and that’s how I knew but did not know he played guitar AND that there was four members. I’m very bad with hearing music so I never picked up on two guitars.

no lol. I simply just listen to the music of artists on apps and that’s its. I don’t read articles or watch live performances or visit their website or instagram or or anything, I just listen to the music. Didn’t know what Matt from The National looked like until his solo album I think and that’s only because, I’m assuming, that’s him on the cover lol

edit: at least, not an album of them playing live. I think I saw a picture of them in a field or something idk
