I really love this band, but I am having a lot of trouble getting into this with the mix the way it is. It’s distractingly bad (to my ear, at least), and I honestly thought they uploaded a demo or something at first. Bummed to feel this way about it

The mix on Three Cheers is still hard for me to listen to. I love that album but the clipping on the vocals is insane.

Love this song. Also love that I’m seeing them at the end of this month in Glasgow. Cannot wait. Never seen them live.

    Might be Spider-Man...

I dig it. I think we've gotten too used to hyper polished mixes tbh. Lamb of Gods first few records sound like they're mixed inside a shoebox that's 100 degrees and reaks of fart, but they're great albums.

    Pretty surprising! I dig it.

I love Manchester Orchestra's Cope album, but will always call out how terrible and muddy that album sounds. That being said, I dig the song, but it's mixed like ass.

I purchased the song on Amazon Music and the mix is well-improved from this YouTube stream. Not sure why, but I’d definitely recommend streaming it on Apple Music or Amazon Music for a better quality stream. I’m sure you all know just how stoked I am that…MCR IS BACK!

I hope this becomes the number one song on the charts this coming week haha.

  23. The people that worked on that album vs this song are honestly not in the same stratosphere ... you can disagree with the choices, but Rich Costey is literally one of the best mixers on the planet. It is not mixed "like ass."

It's mixed intentionally like that and to my ears it sounds huge but I have trouble hearing the lyrics. Which is not ideal on first listen but typically less of a problem with repeated listens.
