Any other big anniversaries for album plays from this group?

Menz should be throwing down On The Impossible Past I would think

They closed out Radical/Rise in 2018 after the Wonder Years. I think they are very easily big enough to be direct support for the Misfits on their stage.

Bad Religion could be Process of Belief or How Could Hell Be Any Worse

I think we'll get most of the album play bands in the lineup tomorrow though

If BR does an album I assume it would be Hell and I'd imagine Brett will play with them

That would be cool! Just seems to pair well with Misfits doing Walk Among Us

They keep sending me emails about the Process 20 year reissue, that's the only reason I really included it

Only Hell is 30 min long, I think Process is around 35.. with banter, they could do both in 75 minutes ish like Against Me did in 2019

I really want to see them play How Could He’ll Be Any Worse! That has been one of my big hopes for this year.

    Not happening

Fear played the Record in 2018, they'll probably play most of it but mix their other stuff as well

    It's chaos. Be kind. Prestigious

So far I'd watch My Chemical Romance, Misfits, Ice Cube, The Academy Is..., Bad Religion, The Maine, The Wonder Years, and Alexisonfire, and would watch Bleachers, GWAR, and The Get Up Kids if time allowed.

    D'oh...

well 5 out of 15 (if you want to count misfits & MCR then it's 6 out of 17), Bauhaus was originally booked in 2018 and Holy Fawn pulled out late last year.. yet every year, there's always a group that think Riot is going to be drastically different than it's ever been lol

To be fair, the teasers are almost never anything earth-shattering. I think the most "left field" one they've done is Jerry Lee Lewis.

There's still plenty of room for Riot to throw us curveballs. I doubt we'll see anything drastically different. But I also don't think they'd throw somebody like Avril Lavigne out as a teaser, either.

It's interesting that there doesn't seem to be a headliner among all these names either... Unless it's actually Bauhaus for Sunday. But they don't feel like a headliner anymore now that they've toured.

I reckon that no more than 30 acts are repeats this year. Last year had an ungodly amount of bands that already played the fest before. I doubt Riot wants to do that again. I could see more repeat acts than 30 if those acts haven't played since 2015 or earlier.

I'm like 90% sure Bauhaus is playing Saturday just based on their tour itinerary

I'm 100% sure I have no clue who the third headliner is going to be

To be honest, I'm not feeling particularly overwhelmed by the current crop of bands. There's plenty on here that I'm into but nothing that is an absolute "must-see" for me just yet.

A few "nice to haves" in Bad Religion, Ice Cube, Rocket from the Crypt, the Get Up Kids, and the Wonder Years. All these would add to me wanting to go but wouldn't drive me there on their own... If that makes sense. Haha.

Looking forward to see what tomorrow brings!

Would Op Ivy as the 3rd change your mind?

and besides that, what one particular act/album play (ok, you even go with two) lean you towards going

question is open to anybody else on the fence as well just out of curiosity

Yeah from what we have so far, the lineup will sure to be super solid! But hopefully we get some other bigger stuff too

Somebody asked me this earlier. Pretty sure Operation Ivy is the only single artist that would change my mind in a vacuum. My girlfriend would be all about going if the Living End or Showoff wind up on the bill, for sure...

But I really can't think of one single act that's still in play that would get announced where I'd be like "Yes! I need to go no matter what!"

This is all super solid so far. Just nothing that's screaming "GOTTA GO!" for me. It's gonna be the whole combination of the line-up tomorrow. And there's still plenty of room in the mix for acts I love.

Does anyone think that all the performers announced in the anagram are doing album plays?

I could definitely see SDRE on the lineup, but I'd be bummed if they are the 3rd headliner bc yes it is a reunion, but they are apparently planning a full tour.. I'm thinking if they play, they should be slotted top 3 or 4 but not a headliner

I feel this. Other than The Academy Is for me it’s a lot of stuff I’ve seen or am just not jumping for joy over. All good stuff but I don’t think they would show their best plays on the teaser and wait for a bigger reveal.
