Funny thing is about the cameos:

"GUNN: Marvel shot it for us, which was really nice of them.

Marvel did?

GUNN: It was nice because we shot it on the set and with the crew of Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3. You know, they were kind of paying us back, though, because DC, Chukwudi Iwuji, we used the Peacemaker crew to shoot Chukwudi’s screen test for Guardians 3, and DC was really cool about that, and then Marvel was really cool about letting us use our crew to shoot Ezra. "

 

The cameos were unexpected and awesome. I was dying at the fart gag in the opening scene.

Great finale. Gimme S2 asap.

 

I'm over here tearing up watching a cgi eagle hug John Cena. This fuckin show man.

 

This was so good.

 

Great finale. I wonder what season two will be about.

 

Well at this point we can be sure that they will be up against some kind of alien form based on an animal ie. starfish, butterflies, so maybe they will fight against alien porcupines.

 

Really enjoyed the show. Glad it got renewed for another season and that they kept most of the cast.

I don’t understand, obviously goff was lying so why keep it around? Lol is it just that this show is based on a character that has the same kind of obvious imperfections, therefore it makes sense that they somehow get along?

 

This fully lived up to the hype I've been hearing, holy shit. Super funny, great action/gore, and fantastic cast. Cena is amazing in this, easily the best acting I've ever seen him do. I'm really glad Gunn is getting to do weird ass shit like this on such a huge scale

 

Also I had no idea there were post-credit scenes until I just let the credits run on the last episode, is it just extended jokes/bits from the episode every time like that one was?

Wow. And I thought Discovery was cooling down on a lot of their scripted shows.

 

Well so far the shows and movies they’ve cancelled are the ones not connected to the movies, right? Batwoman, Legends, and the Wonder Twins movie.

this would obviously fit with the Peacemaker show and the Suicide Squad movie.

Am I missing something?

 

TNT and TBS have completely cut ties with scripted programing. Shows that were in active development found out online that their shows wouldn't be going forward. I wasn't sure how much of that was trickling down (or up?) to HBO. The Batgirl film is likely being pushed to a theatrical release. There are so many moving parts in the Discovery deal.

 

they're not gonna turn down oscar winner Viola Davis and James Gunn whose one of the most talented people in their arsenal haha

 

This will bridge the gap between seasons one and two

 

when is season 2? Season 1 ended a yar ago now and typically HBO is one year-ish. And where is Gemstones Season 3?

With Gunn focused on “Superman: Legacy” for the foreseeable future, Season 2 of “Peacemaker” has been put on hold. Instead, “team ‘Peacemaker'” will appear alongside Davis as a “continuation” of that show, Gunn said — which (spoiler alert for Season 1 of “Peacemaker”) ended with Waller’s daughter Leota Adebayo (Danielle Brooks) outing Task Force X (a.k.a. the Suicide Squad) and Waller’s role running it to the world.

I could have sworn they filmed Season 2 already?

 

going to be over two years since season 1 came out before this is released. dang.

The wait will be worth it. Fingers crossed we get another a great new intro.
