That is so wild lol. I must’ve lucked out heavily then to not have that happen.

Yeah. One local organization that sets up running events up even changed all their contact emails so that their employees would quit getting bombarded with refund requests.

I'm not saying these companies won't do everything they can to hold onto your money, but I still don't think they've found a way to sell tickets for a show, then flat out not have the show, and then LEGALLY keep people's money.

If I weren't refunded for a show that was cancelled (and not reschedule), I'd just file a dispute with my bank.

  7. They can slip about anything into terms and service like someone else said above and just by clicking that damn box you have contracted away your rights. It's unbelievably fucked but it's true. Sure you could try to sue and say the terms are unconscionable or unenforceable but you're probably not gonna win and then you paid a shitload of legal fees for nothing (I'm an attorney fwiw)

At the end of the day, yes, they can do whatever they want because they're a big corporation and I'm a little guy, and if we're talking about legality, yes, I'd need a lot of resources to fight LiveNation or whoever, and probably wouldn't win.

What I was trying to say is, I don't think they can legally put it in the terms of service that "if the show gets cancelled (and isn't postponed/rescheduled, but flat out doesn't happen, you are not entitled to a refund of any kind." - Is the Morrisey show really saying that in the TOS that you have to agree to when you buy tickets?

  16. It's easy for me since I can just stay with my parents. I'm just curious where it will be at. No way it's at the Castle again, but Nightshop would be awesome.

Why does it feel like Badflower is on like every major alt rock tour?

Good management probably, if only the band worked as hard at songwriting. I made the same joke about New Politics back in 2013-14, mediocre band but amazing management team given the tours they got on.
