Stufful is this months community day. It is only three hours, and needs 400 candy to evolve. What even is this company doing?

It would be great if we could buy a ticket and use it to activate community day client side for a set amount of time (maybe at a slightly higher price)

I know they are probably boosted for this little event but every day several venusaur spawn at least once an hour in my neighborhood. Never experienced that before with a 3rd stage evo.

Prioritize defense and resistance. Find pokes with fast charge attacks. Machamp is usually my go to, but might not work depending on Persians moveset.

I find that Melmetal has been an over performer pretty regularly.

 

Use Machamp to beat his Persian.

Start with another Pokémon and then switch to Machamp as soon as the battle starts. You switching your Pokémon will save you a small amount of time in which Persian doesn’t attack.

I'm having some FOMO but I don't like some of the decisions that Niantic has made so I don't want to give them real money I guess? Even though it doesn't make a difference really

 

Yeah, I had google store credit so I figured might as well. If I had to pay the full price I would double think it. I play WAAAAYYY less lately. I haven't used a single incense since they absolutely nerfed it (what's the point in using it?) and haven't done a remote raid (or any raid) since they stopped giving the weekly free one

 

Yeah those are my main complaints too! I noticed I had like 300 Ultra Balls in my bag and I realized it's because I don't play at home anymore, only when I'm out and about.

 

hopefully the odds are better than the one in the winter.

 

@Henry I think you just got very unlucky last time around, I got SO many shinies that time and shiny odds were the same as all other events. I think though, like this upcoming weekend, it was only those rate on Saturday but not Sunday

 

I'm in it for the Axew. A year of grinding eggs and haven't gotten a single one! Also looking forward to the Ultra Beast raid but I'm not sure if that's during or after the event.

 

Prior to this most recent change to 10K eggs a few weeks ago, I had gotten 1 Axew ever. Now I've hatched like 5.
