I don’t really pay attention to stuff in hollywood etc, and i haven’t known what to think of this until now but i must admit i found this quite affecting to listen to

Someone I follow on Twitter posted about Bill Murray being very handsy at a public event when she met him and it completely ruined my view of him.

 

He is a documented abusive asshole

 

Yuck… I don’t know the full story or list of allegations against either of them in this case, but that audio seems pretty damning for Amber.

 

Yeah Bill Murray has been known to be awful for some time now

 

The Depp trial is tricky. Lots of harmful DV tropes going around. Not necessarily here, but it's so harmful seeing the discourse around the trial and the hero worship for Depp. Depp also contradicted himself multiple times in his testimony. The whole situation is sad. Like best case scenario their relationship was toxic af

 

His stans scare and concern me

 

Bummer to see Seth attached to the Aziz film - also a bummer to think about every director that repeatedly worked with Murray and probably shrugged off past behaviors

 

I don't see it as tricky at all. Two horrible people were physically, mentally, and emotionally abusive towards one another.

 

Yeah I’m pretty sure there was a lot of evidence that Depp was very abusive but for some reason that’s not covered or discussed nearly as much

 

MRAs seem to be taking this case up as their crusade. Poor Johnny is the innocent victim to harlot manipulative Amber Heard. People are trying to make it too black and white. People aren't perfect victims and abuse can be mutual and people can be pushed to behave in ways they normally wouldn't when pushed and abused for a long time and under the influence of substances. We have it as a fact from Johnny that he was toxic af and can't keep his story straight. He's a consummate professional but hours and hours late to set. He never abused substances except when he did. He's never hit a woman but he hits walls and he's thrown things at them and threatened them. Idk why he's the hill they want to die on. Like if this dude is the face of your cause... lmao

 

It seems to be solely because there is just enough for them to latch on to here to say that Heard was the "actual" abuser, whereas in most high-profile cases that isn't the case. If they can "prove" she's a liar then in their minds it discredits all survivors and they can use this case as an example forever going forward.

 

Yeah she's def not the perfect sympathetic victim, but neither is he and they're willing to paint him as such. It's just bizarre discourse that's pretty harmful and I feel bad for those who will be affected by it

 

Yeah of course they have to steadfastly ignore the mountain of evidence against Depp in doing so, but hypocrisy has never really been a concern for those kinds of people.

 

Heard and Depp are both terrible people.

 

Yeah feel like it’s a lot of “who’s side are you on?” on twitter and people just ignoring the fact the both of them can in fact be assholes at the same time.

 

Depp is the plaintiff and it’s only been his witnesses called so far, so obviously even when under cross-examination those witnesses are going to have way more negative things to spread about Heard than Depp.

 

I was remembering the other case where after trial it was found that a paper labeling him a wife beater and abusing Amber Heard was “substantially true”
