Probably. Just featured it in that clip enough to act as a hint and honestly after how odd their last album title was (as well as some others) who really knows.

    Maybe it’ll be ‘72.

Or some version with year involved. Better than Slappy Hours, Dookie or Foam in my mind

I was thinking it was going to be an EP but the more and more it's teased the more I start to suspect it's an actual album

I’m rocking the Lookout-era records for the first time in like 15 years. Jams a plenty. I think I remembered them being a lot sloppier and poorly produced than they are.

I've said it in here a bunch but Kerplunk is literally one of their best albums. With a bit cleaner production I think it could be considered better than Dookie; I already kind of think so as it is

Just finished up a discography run through over the past few days.

I used to think 1039 smooth was better than Kerplunk! But with this run through I definitely put Kerplunk! above 1039 Smooth. I think for a long time songs like At The Library, Disappearing Boy, Paper Lanterns, Going to Pasalacqua, and Only of You made me think 1039 is superior. But spinning Kerplunk! this time it hit me that it has way more bangers. 2000 Light Years Away, Welcome to Paradise, Christie Road, Private Ale, One of My Lies, 80, and Who Wrote Holden Caulfield? Killer track after killer track.

the trilogy and FOAM are still the super weak points. The trilogy at least can be seen in the context of a band writing too many songs at a time and Billie dealing with his addiction issues potentially impacting his writing. FOAM is just bad all around. It’s at least a short album. But it’s a bummer to end a run through on a negative note.

The fact that they're seemingly jumping right into another album cycle makes me think that they realize that the FOAM experiment wasn't received super well. All of the snippets seem really cool

Oh yea, when they didn’t bother to play any FOAM songs on Hella Mega, it was clear the band had already moved on from that album.

  14. did somebody say FOAM??? :-)

They should've doubled down on FOAM and threw FOAM parties on tour.

Just finishing up Revolution Radio as I post this and I truly don't understand the meh reaction to it. This is such a solid, solid record and so welcomed after the trilogy. Songs like Somewhere/Forever Now, Bang Bang, Outlaws, Rev Rad, Bouncing Off the Wall and Still Breathing are some of their greatest songs in a long time imo

I know there's been a pandemic and all, but FOAM came out over two years ago haha, it's been a standard amount of time since an album, definitely not jumping into anything faster than a normal cycle

I definitely enjoy a lot of it even though the production hurts my ears at times. It's definitely their best album since 21CB. (aside from my personal trilogy playlist lol)

Also, the more time that goes by.....and considering the direction these guys have been heading this past decade....the more I've started really liking and appreciation 21CB. That and because I've matured more haha.

I love Rev Rad, but it’s a very trad Green Day album that they could easily record over and over again in their sleep. Which is what I was worried about after the trilogy flopped. Thankfully FOAM proves they’re still just going to do whatever the fuck they want.

Thankfully FOAM is looking to be left in the past and hopefully they’ll never play any songs off it live at future concerts.
