I had a Tesla pre-ordered before Elon Musk went from being a tryhard memelord to a libertarian tech-bro, and when my car finally came in I told them to keep it because I don't want to think of that asshole every time I get in my car.

The guy at Tesla just went "Yeah, I get it. Give us a call if you change your mind." lmao.

I’m the youngest of 4 kids and the only one that didn’t have a kid in high school, comprehensive sex ed may have helped my siblings out!

I think the message it conveys is fine (don't resist good just because it doesn't benefit you), but they are not equal statements saying the same thing and it's a cheap shot being used to make those arguing against student loans look dumb and selfish. You could argue that someone who bitches about paying into healthcare just to pay to treat someone else, is incorrect because they are getting something out of it (even if they never have to use it) as they are buying a safety net that they can use should they get sick

Try to explain to someone who doesn't have student loans what they are getting out of paying for a bailout for others and it's not as easy, so it's a lame comparison, even if I understand the overarching point.

It is huge fucking news which is why it's on the news and you're talking about. It's literally front page on most sites.

I'm willing to buy my next Mini electric but those are expensive. 4 door STARTS at $41K. I think if they can bring that down a bit I'd be more comfortable. Really don't want to give up driving Minis lol.

theyre bringing mask mandate back to philly for restaurants (indoors in general) and every single person i work with is furious, and i gotta admit its kind of bullshit they keep going back and forth and back and forth and we get comfortable one way just to get it rolled back or whatever but the most peculiar thing is that they wont be enforcing it til monday so what theyre giving us a week to go ahead and spread some covid before we have to put the masks back on? i just dont get it.

edit: i just read the health commissioners statements on it and it just seems like wishy washy bullshit to me. sure many will disagree but the general public is not happy at all.

  21. I’d like an electric vehicle but probably not until I can buy a quality used one under $10k, I just can’t stomach spending more on a piece of metal with four wheels

The Philly government, top to bottom, has really shown their ass for the past two years. Kenney is absolutely useless

I want to get a hybrid for my next car. Full electric would be cool but they need to improve the cost + charging time + limited charging station problems before I’d do that.
