It annoys me this tweet from this moron showed up by itself on my Twitter feed in a “non-fuck this guy” way.

I mean, this is a FANTASTIC example of why we need age limits in our government. The fact that an 88 year old woman with failing memory problems is holding office is pretty insane, same with the rest of elderly congresspersons. Like why on earth are we as a society letting these people make decisions and control the flow of our lives when they should be retired and far away from Congress?

 

Isn’t there a lot of polling showing that, even if there’s arguments about how much to cancel, cancelling student debt *is* very much a popular idea among Americans in general? Odd that he doesn’t really care to point to actual numbers but instead just shoots from the hip!

A cop in Grand Rapids, Mich. shot and killed a black man on April 4th and they released the body cam footage yesterday. Patrick Lyoya came with his family from the DR Congo in 2014 and this cop pulled him over for an issue with a license plate and Patrick ended up running around the car and then got in a wrestling match with the cop when the cop's bodycam 'deactivated' for 7 minutes and Patrick was shot in the head and killed during that 7 minute stretch the video was blacked out in.

Like, the cop is on Patrick's back because Patrick has his hands on the taser and the cop just puts the gun to the back of him and fucking pulled the trigger.

Edit: There's cell phone video from the passenger in the car that shows the execution of Patrick. Fuck.
