For what it's worth for the whole TBA guest on the Northlane tour, Silent Planet said on Facebook that it's a band they've wanted to tour with for quite some time. So I imagine it's someone Silent Planet hasn't toured with. Other people have theorized it could be Loathe.

 

It’s what they deserve for how they handled the sexual assault incident, but it’s wild how much Tiny Moving Parts has fallen. I mean, when I saw them play a sold out 500 capacity venue here pre-allegations they seemed like a very hot band who was finally getting their big break and now they are playing the same 800 capacity venue they played before in Chicago but only co-headlining this time. I wonder if enough people are actually turned off by them which is causing the (at least somewhat) decline.

 

Anecdotally, they're playing a 600 cap up from a 400ish cap room from the last time they were here so I don't think people really care too much about the allegations and the way they handled them in the larger scene as shitty as they are and the way that they handled them. The bubble that is this site rarely mirrors how the rest of the scene feels about these things. They've probably just plateaued in popularity if anything.

And I say this as someone who could give two shits about Tiny Moving Parts pre-allegations.

 

Seattle area radio station posted a date for Five Finger Death Punch / Megadeth / The Hu / Fire From The Gods. Don't know if it's a one off or a part of a bigger tour yet to be announced. 9 pm PST seems like a weird time to announce a show though.

 

They just dropped a single tonight.

 

Yeah it's a full tour. Dudes with battle vests are probably pissed.

would love it to be Loathe, was so bummed when they couldn't come across for the Architects run that was postponed

 

kinda weird that people are asking about a Nas tour on the same page someone is talking about assault allegations for other bands

 

i don't really think they've taken much of a hit at all from that. no one but people here really knows about what happened. my friends that are diehards for TMP didn't know a thing about it until I told them.
