The amazing thing about Vladdy is that he’ll hit a rocket like that, then the next day get two soft liners over the second baseman to drive in runs, scoop a ball out of the dirt to get an out while playing first, and also be the first guy up the stairs when a teammate hits a home run. Guy is just fun to watch everyday.

Also, instead of shying away from the media like his bad did, he decided to embrace the media, and along with that embrace the fans and the pressure and his teammates.

Love that kind of mention.

Favorite player of all time: Albert Pujols

Player I dislike: Excluding the obvious choices (abusers and cheaters) gonna go with Anthony Rizzo

Player that grew on me: Bryce Harper, used to strongly dislike him now I think he's a blast

Most overrated player: This one is tough because I think the baseball circles I spend time in tend to rate people pretty properly. Gonna go kinda controversial here and say Tatis since I think there's a good chance he gets moved off SS long term and even setting aside the bike accident the injuries are so frequent already. I just don't think it makes sense all things considered to talk about him as a top 5 player right now, even though he's clearly very very good.

Most underrated player: Sandy Alcantara or honestly could be Soto because, even though he's obviously widely respected, I think we collectively don't fully appreciate how insane it is that he has the skills he has as a hitter at age 22
