Cody is a known name amongst casual fans though.

Cody will be in the mid card just like everyone but Roman/Brock. If anyone is going up to that level it will be Gable Stevenson/Omos/Bron Breakker. Of anyone for AEW to lose I’m glad it was Cody.

I know, but it’s still a response. For the record I’m not a Cody fan and I love AEW. I’m not saying Cody signing is good for WWE. Just that it’s acknowledgment more or less.

 

Seth has always taken digs at AEW though.

 

This is like an average tier Cody Dynamite main event match so far.

They’ll give Cody a couple months title run to give the illusion that the grass is greener if you leave. It’ll be business as usual by mania next year, Cody will be nowhere near the main event

He knows he's WWE for life and is smart enough to work it that way.

I love that quote from Cody that he thinks he's the best wrestler in the world and there's not a close 2nd. He should feel that way (even if he's really, really wrong) right now before WWE breaks his will again
