I've been to the physical store too and while it is small I almost always come home with a record or few.

A few leftover All-American Rejects vinyl just went up on Bandcamp: https://therejects.bandcamp.com/

Some of these versions were returns by users who had bent covers, etc. so be careful on which version you purchase!

A limited yellow pressing of Slipknot's self titled album has been popping up places this morning. I pre ordered on Pop Market, but I also saw it on SRC and a few other places.

Thanks for the tip on Pop Market! I was able to get this pressing shipped for under $20.

Free shipping + 10% off first orders + lower than average prices seems way too good to be true! This is only my second order from Pop Market (pre-ordered Paramore's AWKIF last month), but I haven't read any bad reviews for them.

It’s also on Amazon for $20. Also, a link for Iowa just popped up on an international site so I would be on the lookout for a more local link soon.

They fixed your brain when you were young.

Yeah... Bummed I just bought 2 records from there the other day, but happy I didn't buy all I wanted to at the time.. now I can grab the ones I didn't the other day and feel less guilty.

If your order hasn't shipped just cancel it and place another order. That's what I did this morning on a couple open preorders I had with them.

I just hate how this “sale” at Newbury is just making things normal price as opposed to their usual mark up of everything.

I work by the original Newbury in Boston, and stopped in the other day just to take a look around. Prices on vinyl are absolutely mortifying.

The first record I ever bought was a used Darkness on the Edge of Town for like fifteen bucks from them. Now they don’t even sell used records, haha.

Always bummed out by what has become of that store, but that’s what happens I guess.

As much as I hate Amazon, there really isn’t anywhere to get them cheaper. Not great when it comes to variants though unless you’re buying third party. I tend to notice the easiest way is buying through the label directly when they’re indie and actually have a shop, or through the band’s website. So much shit I just assume is out of stock in major retailers and then check the band’s site and they have so many more options.

Finally scored a copy of Fleetwood Mac - Rumors on 180g 2xLP through MusicDirect.

Best deals I saw on Newbury Comics today were:

    1) AFI - Bodies (on silver marble vinyl) $11.20 before the 20% off and shipping costs.
    2) Modest Mouse - The Golden Casket (alternate cover) $11.99 before the 20% off and shipping.

Not much else grabbed my eye, but the 20% is tempting on some pre-orders like Oso Oso.
