nah Maher would have been agreeing with Sullivan’s shit…Stewart basically told him he’s a crazy racist who clearly doesn’t live on the same planet as everyone else lol

I was actually kind of shocked he was as antagonistic to one of his guests as he was. I guess being older and on Apple TV means he gives much less of a shit haha

The episode ended with twin interviews of Booker and Scott which were actually kind of disappointing in their substance I thought

I've only watched 3 of the episodes so far but so far all have been pretty good. It's basically a combo of elements of Daily Show/Last Week Tonight, with a panel section that isn't quite like either Real Time's panel segment nor like Wilmore's Nightly Show either. It's more...interview-y, which I'm sure there's a real word for that. And then it's ending with interviews of some pretty significant figures and he's seemingly doing much less softball tossing than he did on the Daily Show back in the day. At least maybe I'm misremembering but it certainly feels like some of the questions he's asking are tougher than the ones he'd lob up on TDS.

I just watched it everyone on the Stewart panel was pretty insufferable in their own way, not just Sullivan lol. You can just tell that Lisa Bond has basically never had to justify her views to anyone who didn’t already agree with her. I just looked it up and that business she works for - Race2Dinner - was created by that Sairo Rao psycho and is pretty clearly a grift on white liberals lol

Hey man, if this ruins sportsball jokes for people with zero personality and force them to better articulate why they wanna shit on other people’s fun, then so be it.

Met him through my girlfriend when we started dating, they rented rooms in the same house… he can really only wear it in private, I think she went to a convenience store with him when he wore it and someone confronted him.

  23. I have complicated feelings on Saira Rao but they're mostly that she makes things harder for people with similar goals for their activism. I genuinely don't think Race2Dinner is a grift but the folks running it must clearly understand that they're not accomplishing what they say they're trying to accomplish when they do press.

In the larger community of CSR/culture of care coaching and consulting, it's kinda something you just don't talk about with someone you don't know pretty well yet lol
